ASTM E 84 Test Reports for Bobrick Toilet Partitions

The International Building Code and the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code® define toilet room privacy partitions as Interior Finish. Accordingly, toilet partition materials require testing of non-plastic materials in accordance with ASTM E 84 or UL 723, the Tunnel Test since 2006; plastic materials including High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), since 2009, and Polypropylene (PP), since 2012, require testing in accordance with NFPA 286 Room Corner Test.

The ASTM E 84 is an objective, repeatable and comparable test procedure that analyzes the flame spread and smoke development characteristics of different types of toilet partition materials.
