Bobrick helped Kia Forum transform its high-traffic restrooms with Evolve Cubicles, delivering greater durability, enhanced privacy and a more premium guest experience.

As one of Southern California’s premier entertainment venues, Kia Forum welcomes over a million guests for concerts and live events throughout the year. The volume places significant demands on its restrooms, where partitions must withstand frequent, heavy use while maintaining the elevated experience guests expect from a world-class venue. Aging restroom partitions had become an ongoing challenge, creating a need for a solution that could perform reliably in a demanding environment without compromising aesthetics or privacy. Kia Forum turned to Bobrick for a durable, modern partition system designed to address those needs and support the facility for years to come.

The venue’s existing partitions no longer met the operational demands of a world-class entertainment facility. The previous system lacked structural stability, causing doors to become misaligned and preventing them from closing properly. The gaps resulting from under-sized doors also created privacy concerns for guests.

In addition, the existing partitions were mounted directly to a uni-strut support system, producing noticeable door movement that diminished both performance and the overall perception of quality. The facility sought a more robust installation method, along with a modern design capable of resisting scratches, graffiti, and the wear associated with high-volume public restrooms.

Kia Forum selected Bobrick Evolve Phenolic Cubicles for their superior durability, enhanced privacy, and contemporary appearance. Constructed from compact-grade phenolic, Evolve cubicles provide exceptional resistance to impacts, moisture, scratches, and graffiti—making them well suited for demanding, high-traffic environments.

Equally important, the Bobrick cubicles utilize a full anodized aluminum frame that creates a significantly more stable structure than the previous partitions. Larger doors further improved privacy while contributing to a more comfortable guest experience. The combination of performance, aesthetics, and long-term durability made Evolve the ideal solution for the renovation.

Since installation, the response from both staff and guests has been overwhelmingly positive. The new cubicles have transformed the appearance of the restrooms while providing smoother door operation, greater stability, and increased user privacy. Their durable phenolic construction has also reduced concerns about scratches and graffiti, helping the restrooms maintain a clean, premium appearance despite heavy daily use.

Operational efficiencies have improved as well. The installation of Bobrick’s larger shared toilet paper dispensers has reduced refill frequency, resulting in labor savings during events.
