Social Responsibility
At Bobrick, giving back to the community is integral to our identity as a company. We remain loyal to our local communities by reaching out through partnerships, volunteerism and community outreach sponsorships.
Hiring Locally
Bobrick is committed to manufacturing within the United States and hiring employees living within in its local communities. Local and national public figures consistently use Bobrick and its manufacturing facilities as a case example in responsible hiring practices. In July 2015, Vice President Joe Biden visited Bobrick’s headquarters in North Hollywood, CA to promote the importance of middle-class jobs, as has Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti on several occasions.
United Way Campaign
For more than 60 years, Bobrick has maintained a longstanding partnership with United Way to help our local communities and create pathways for those in need. Every year, Bobrick hosts a United Way campaign for employees to raise funds for local communities. In fact, the company earns United Way’s Gold Award for high participation and donations on an annual basis and has contributed more than $2 million since 1998.
Our employees contribute to United Way through both financial contributions and time. Bobrick employees serve on United Way boards across the country. Our senior leaders serve as campaign Chairs. In fact, President and CEO, Mark Louchheim, served as Board Chair of the San Fernando Valley Region United Way Chapter and is on the Board of the United Way of Greater Los Angeles, and many Bobrick employees volunteer in United Way community campaigns and projects.
Valley Industry & Commerce Association
Bobrick is a Silver member of the Valley Industry & Commerce Association (VICA). In December 2017, Bobrick was awarded the 39th Annual Robert E. Gibson Corporate Award of Excellence, which is awarded to honorees that exemplify the community spirit and leadership characteristic of the region.
Bobrick Green
At Bobrick, we are committed to environmental sustainability in global product design, manufacturing and operations. We are also committed to assisting our clients in the planning and implementation of a sustainable building and operating strategy. Bobrick products not only help contribute to the LEED® certification program but also support long-term operating cost reductions and social responsibility. Bobrick’s green leaf symbol is used throughout our website and Restroom Accessory Catalog to signify particular products that save paper and/or reduce waste by complying with the US EPA Reduce & Reuse Resource Conservation Initiative.
Bobrick’s headquarters in North Hollywood, CA is a LEED Gold-certified facility. Our 100,000 square foot campus features rooftop solar panels, photometric sensors and electric vehicle charging stations.
Our Culture
Our positive and supportive culture encourages our people to do their best every day.
